KINE-EXAKTA
.
Modern photography became popular with the first SLR camera - the legendary Kine-Exakta, made by Ihagee in Dresden Germany in 1936. It used the new developed 35mm film cartridges and lens makers like Carl Zeiss (Jena), Schneider (Kreuznach) or Meyer (Görlitz) provided a wide variety of excellent exchangeable lenses to the modern camera system. After WW2 Ihagee introduced the Varex system, with exchangeable viewfinders, a variety of prisms and the Stereflex system for 3-dimensional imaging. Below pictured with attachable TTL lightmeter, beamsplitters for 50mm lenses and close-up imaging as well as a stereo-viewer from Carl Zeiss with color corrected backlight filter.
